Endpoint Security
With the release of Endpoint Security 10, McAfee introduced the Endpoint Security Platform—a new architecture that integrates protection technologies, consolidates multiple products and avoids functional duplication. I was the UX design lead for the team responsible for the user experience of the client application and management server UI.

Previously, our protection technologies were developed as individual products—requiring separate installation, upgrade, and management. Endpoint Security 10 was redesigned from the ground up to streamline the experience and provide a modern user interface. The new architecture integrates common features and services allowing communication across technologies improving protection while reducing our footprint. Features were consolidated and standardized to simplify management and reduce operational costs to IT administrators.
Endpoint CLient UI:
On the endpoint, the unified technologies have been wrapped together in a modern, intuitive interface that is easy to use. The user interface is also touch friendly and accessible to all users by meeting 508 Compliance.

Management server UI:
On the server, the management extensions are simplified by consolidating policies, combining common settings, and incorporating single page workflows with basic and advanced views which enable the user to quickly access their most used settings.
